Walking to the Floyd Country Store was a highlight, and the atmospheric decor made the stay enjoyable. The breakfast provided was adequate, but the quirky room layout could use clearer instructions for future guests.

One simple answer, yes or no?
Charming decor featuring local artists added a unique touch enhancing the stay. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore shops and restaurants with a delightful breakfast included.
While the atmosphere was lovely, inconsistent room service can be frustrating, and the breakfast has shifted to a more standard offering compared to previous visits.

I recently spent 2 nights at this charming hotel and loved the unique local artwork in my room and throughout the common areas. The breakfast was a delightful surprise, served on real plates with mostly homemade dishes. Unfortunately, the mattress in my room was quite uncomfortable, making for a rough night’s sleep. I would definitely consider staying here again despite the mattress issue.

Stay in a Deluxe King Room was delightful. The build quality stands out with solid oak and fiddle-back maple furniture, complemented by unique decor. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, featuring local meat options. However, arriving on a Tuesday meant a mostly closed town, and navigating to dining spots was a bit tricky during off-peak days. Overall, a lovely experience, but timing your visit is key for the full charm.

impressive stay but some room for improvement
The build quality throughout the hotel really stood out. The handcrafted lamps made from repurposed trombone parts added a unique charm to the atmosphere. The convenience of being just steps away from the Floyd General Store and its Friday Night Jamboree made our visit even more enjoyable. Additionally, the breakfast featured delicious homemade options served on real plates, which felt special.
However, the view from our room included an adjacent cemetery, which might not be to everyone's taste.
